SkinClear Q-Switched Nd: YAG laser The SkinClear Q-Switched Nd: YAG laser is a highly efficient, portable, safe, easy-to-use and affordable system for the treatment of tattoos and pigmented lesions. SkinClear’s unique technology provides sufficient energy per pulse to provide high efficacy while remaining non-invasive enough to allow patients to continue normal activity with minimal to no downtime. At 532nm, SkinClear targets red, tan, purple and orange pigments. At 1064nm, SkinClear targets dark pigment colors such as blue/black and black. Most competitive lasers provide only the 1064nm wavelength and are therefore unable to remove lighter colored tattoos. A significant portion of the market requires a wavelength capable of targeting lighter pigment. SkinClear’s ability to operate at two different wavelengths makes it a comprehensive system.
