Pitman motors, THK rails and HP encoders Overall size(expanded x-y-z) : 25" x 24 x 16 The applications might be: CNC Router, Mill, plasma cutting and marking, PCB router, LASER marking, engraving, ... you name it. The unit is in working condition, it has collected lots of dust though, it is pulled from a semiconductor Xray inspection system. No electronics. 3 axis of motion, X and Y are driven by Pitman dc motors with HP rotary encoders driving a belt which drives a lead screw with spring loaded nut. Z is driven by a Pitman dc motor with HP rotary encoder driving a belt which drives 4 vertical lead screws simultaneously. Please see pictures. There are pre-existing wirings to the motors, encoders and end switches, so it is presumably very easy to integrate for your new application.
