Vertrod Thermal Impulse Vacuum Sealer with Vacuum supply This listing is for a used Vertrod brand heavy duty vacuum sealer in excellent condition. This sealer is designed for heavy duty sealing applications such as joining materials that require high temperature or a long seal. The vacuum system on this machine draws the air out of the bag through the two tubes that are located between the seal platens. Initially when you depress the foot switch, the sponge jaws clamp together providing a seal around the vacuum tubes that are in the bag. The air is drawn out of the bag for the time specified and then the vacuum tubes retract and the impulse seal bar comes down. This system provides a air and water tight seal. The included vacuum supply consists of a 1 HP motor, Gast pump, 30 gal tank, motor starter and pressure switch. This whole system is self contained and complete. We tested the sealer with kraft poly material and made a vacuum packaged bag that worked perfectly. Call with any questions.
