In this design all compressed air that enters the dryer can be utilized for the consumer’s process. Dew points typically range from 0°F to -40°F (-18°C to -40°C), but through the selection of a dry air sweep, dew points can be held to the lower value. A small amount of purge air (less than 2%) would be consumed in order to make use of standard selectable feature. The TWB unit can be used as a heatless dryer (standard heatless back-up feature), should replacement of components in the heated system become necessary.
