This system is fully functioning and was set up to do the pop-test for the E-arm of the hard disk drive. A current is supply using a DC power supply to the coil on the E-Arm to heat up to 100 deg C. If the coil winding can withstand the 100 deg C, the E-arm passed the test. If it fails, it will pop out. The inferometer will detect the pop-out and send the signal to the HP 35670A Dynamic Signal Analyzer. The system consists of the following components: a. Polytec OFV-3001 Vibrometer Controller b.
