Newport 8016 Modular High-Density Laser Diode Controller * Complete system controller and processor loaded for 16 channel applications; EDFA pumping or DWDM signal sources * Combo LDD/TEC modules feature a programmable signal generator (200 Hz–300 kHz) * Outputs configured for either floating or common anode type LD package styles * IEEE-488 and RS-232 interfaces * LabVIEW drivers are provided The Model 8016 High-Density Laser Diode Controller expands on Newport’s modular laser diode controller concept to meet the higher channel densities found in Dense WDM (DWDM) applications and 2-D VCSEL arrays where all the lasers have similar electrical configurations. The 16 bays accept Combo Laser Diode Driver (LDD)/ Temperature Controller (TEC) modules. The Combo LDD/TEC modules are designed for use in communication applications and have an internal function generator for testing systems.
