"MINI" HARPERIZER Harperizer.net * The Mini Harperizer, has six drums, vertical axis, centrifugal barrel finishing machine utilizes a planetary drive system. This design allows for the turret to rotate in one direction and the drums to counter-rotate producing a rubbing action of parts against media under the influence of centrifugal force * The drums have a capacity of 108 cu. in. per drum (648 cu. in. per machine cycle). Two, three, four, or six drums can be utilized at one time. The drums are available in either abrasive resistant molded neoprene rubber or cast polyurethane * A timing belt and pulley assembly drives the drum carriers. The turret is driven by a 2 HP motor through an Electronic Variable Speed drive giving the machine an infinitely variable speed range of 0 through 265 RPM. The "G" Force can be varied between 1 and 19 G's at the center line of each drum * The Mini Series Harperizer utilizes drums that are easily removed from the machine after completion of process cycle. A second set of drums can then be placed in the drum carrier with the components to be processed. While the machine is running, the drums previously removed are unloaded and recharged. This maximizes the running time of the Harperizer, allowing for the greatest product flow and productivity. The Fastest and Gentlest Form of Mass Finishing PROGRAMMABLE COMPUTER INTERFACE - (PCI) AND MACHINE CONTROLLER * The Harper Programmable Computer Interface (PCI) makes it quick and easy to set up and operate the Mini Harperizer. The PCI provides overall control and user interface for virtually any controller, which needs an easy-to-use, intelligent operator interface. * The operator can view and change machine parameters or simply follow pre-programmed instructions to perform complex operations. Operators can be given as little or as much help as required by programming the HELP key function with programmable instructions. * Clumsy switches, thumbwheels and indicator lights, common to most control interfaces, are eliminated by the PCI back-lit 9-line by 40 character "super-twist" LCD display and large full-travel 30-key waterproof keypad. * For machine control, the PCI provides 24 lines of parallel I/O, two serial ports (RS-232/ RS-485), 8 timers, and a printer port to facilitate machine monitoring and control functions. * The PCI is designed for rugged environments where water tight (Nema 4) panel mounting is essential. Liquid, dust, and particulate matter do not affect the functional operation of the PCI. * Utilizing the Harper PCI, the operator can pre-program up to 200 different profiles with each profile having 5 separate speeds and dwell times per profile. Editing the profiles can be password protected to prevent unauthorized entries. * Harper includes with the purchase of the PCI, pre-programming of all basic machine functions, operations and safety controls.
