GERSTNER & SONS Solid WALNUT 100th Anniversary Legacy Chest, Style #W-LE-616. Up for sale in this listing are several chests, all with serial numbers below 100, of an open ended edition, which ceased production as of December 31, 2006. Total edition size for this once-in-a-hundred years Gerstner chest was probably less than 300 pieces altogether. As of December 31, 2006, only those pieces in production were scheduled for completion and no more of these items will be made again by Gerstner. Chest Dimension: 22"W x 19"H x 11½"D This chest sports features nearly too numerous to list but here’s our best attempt. · Hand polished semi-gloss lacquer finish · Solid polished brass hardware including lock, finger-pull, hasps, side handles, and top & bottom corners · Quarter sawn, Black Walnut hardwood; drawer sides similarly of featured hardwood · Raised panel retractable front lid · Matching hardwood 2 inch base stand · 15 various size drawers surrounding lockable center door · Black felt interior throughout · Inside top lid brass framed mirror reverse laser etched with original script logo company name · Black plaque with production year and serial number surround mirror · One-eighth inch thick solid brass medallion partially inlaid on front of chest lid features raised script “G over image of traditional Gerstner mirror and raised “Made in USA phrase, your assurance the item was built at Gerstner’s factory in Dayton, Ohio. · One of a kind collectible. (Unlike an Artist’s print or lithograph, or reprint, EACH Gerstner Chest is AN ORIGINAL. · Guarantee that as of December 31, 2006, production of any additional new LE-616 Legacy Chests will cease, forever! * Along with your purchase comes a listing on Legacy Chest Owners Plaque in the lobby of H.
