The DBGA-80 Double Bar Squeeze Tool offers an economical means of squeezing-off large diameter PE pipe using the proper procedure. The tool must be centered and square to the pipe. After torquing to "tight", allow cold flow relaxation of one minute per diameter inch of pipe size. After re-torquing the screw, install the saddle clamp bolts in an even pattern. The evenly distributed compressive force on the flattened pipe is needed for precise squeeze-off. Mustang Model DBGA-80 Squeeze Tool and the SC-80 Saddle Clamps combination mechanically accommodate large diameter PE pipe squeeze-off requirements. The design incorporates a tubular frame, powerful Acme Power Screw amd Upper Jaw Thrust Bearing with grease fittings for lubricating the screw and thrust bearing. |
