BRAND NEWMcELROY #14 Pitbull, comes with heater with butt plates, and facer with stand McElroy PitBull No.14 Machines fuse 1" IPS - 4" DIPS pipe (32mm - 110mm). The machine incorporates McElroy's patented Centerline Guidance System, and is designed to butt fuse tees, ells, and other fittings with consistent high quality results. The machine's semi-automatic locking cam system maintains force during the cooling cycle.The machine is primarily made of surface hardened aluminum for light weight and durability. Features include reversible jaws, clamp knobs and facer. A four-wheel cart with outrigger pipe supports is also available. The new heater features a microprocessor controlled temperature set point that can be adjusted using an easy to read dial and control knob. This is an advantage over the competition in that it removes any guesswork. For fusion machines that fuse pipe up to 4", the heater handle has been shortened for easier in-ditch operation. All models feature an ergonomic handle with diamond grip. The new heater's PC board contains onboard diagnostics to alert the operator of a potential problem.
