The ha30ar mini argos surgical lighting system from skytron consists of a lighthead with optical sensors and computer circuitry for lighthead positioning. an optical wall mounted dimmer control/on-off switch controls the light intensity. the lighthead is positioned by means of a handheld wireless remote control unit (positioning wand). when activated the positioning wand emits bright high frequency strobe light. photoelectric elements located in the lighthead sense the signal emitted by the wand and create input signals to the internal computer circuitry. the computer circuitry simultaneously activates the positioning motors until the light beam is focused directly on the positioning wand.
