Here is a nice IOtech Chartscan 1400 'Paperless chart recorder' (or 'portable data recorder', depending on where you look) Logs 64 channels, can be controlled using simple ASCII commands over the RS-232 port, or over the IEEE-488 port. This is current product and is over $6000 worth of gear new from IOtech. CSN14/HV/S - 16 channel isolated high voltage input module. CSN14/LV/B - 16 channel low voltage input module with BNC connectors. CSN14/LV/T - 16 channel low voltage input module with screw terminal connectors. CSN14/TC/P 16 channel isolated thermocouple module with standard sub-miniature TC connectors. CSN/COM/488 IEEE-488 com port. Lots of information and (really neat) software to drive it at www.iotech.com (Sadly the software is only for windows, but the nearly 300 page .pdf manual covers all the ASCII commands, so driving it from Linux or other non-M$ systems should not be too hard.) Software: http://iotech.com/ftp.html Manual: http://iotech.com/manuals.html Pricing: http://iotech.com/catalog/temp/chartscan_order.html It is in good used condition, shows a few small nicks and scratches, but nothing that in any way affects usability. We have tested some of inputs, all worked. We have not tested them all, nor attempted to check the calibration on the unit. |
