IFR FM/AM-1200 Radio Communication Service Monitor *****Guaranteed Working, 30 Day Warranty***** The FM/AM-1200 is a processor controlled, digitally synthesized FM/AM/SSB receiver and generator, with an integral oscilloscope/spectrum analyzer. The receiver is a triple conversion superheterodyne receiver capable of receiving signals from 250 kHz to 999.9999 MHz. The signal generator is capable of producing modulated or unmodulated RF signals from 250 kHz to 999.9999 MHz. A function generator will produce six functions (Ramp, Triangle, Square, Sine, DTMF and Pulse) with ranges from 10 Hz up to 10 kHz and one function up to 30 kHz. A duplex generator can produce a signal up to +/- 49.99 MHz from the received frequency. The oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer utilize a common CRT. Bandwidth of the oscilloscope is DC to 1 MHz and the dynamic range of the spectrum analyzer is from -30 dBm to -100 dBm. Receive/Monitor Specifications: Frequency Range: 250 kHz to 999.9999 MHz in 100 Hz increments. Sensitivity Level: 2 µV (1 MHz to 1000 MHz, FM narrow). RF Signal Generator Specifications: Frequency Range: 250 kHz to 999.9999 MHz in 100 Hz increments. RF Output Accuracy: +/- 2.5 dB Variable Generate: When in the "locked" position, the generator is phase-locked to the master oscillator. When switched from the "locked" position, the generator may be varied 10 kHz. Internal Modulation: (See Function Generator) FM: 2 Hz to 30 kHz (DC when in variable generate). AM: 10 Hz to 10 kHz (30% maximum modulation above 5 kHz). Input Impedance: Greater than 10 K Ohms. Microphone Input: Generator can be switched on by an external microphone.
