HOSOKAWA ALPINE TURBOPLEX ULTRAFINE CLASSIFIER, 200 / 4 / S / GS, Air Flow Classifier, Pressure Shock Resistant to 10 bar overpressure. Two Units, both manufactured in 1995, utilized at a process particle size control Manufacturing Facility until the fall of 2005. Both units were operating at the time of removal and have been stored in an enclosed trailer since there removals. Also at the time of removal, motors and wheels were removed and the casing split, (bolts) in two sections, to allow for easier storage and for weight and size reduction. The motors and wheel assemblies, were re-installed loosely, to ensure equipment remained in tack while storing and will require additional alignment and assembly to make operational. The following description and specifications were taken from the Manual. The Turboplex Air Classifier 200/4 ATP is a deflector wheel classifier equipped with four horizonal classifying wheels that is characterized by its sharpness of separation. The main components of the sub-assembly are four horizonal classifying wheels, that are mounted at an angle of 90 deg. to each other. The classifying wheels are driven by a belt drive and are equipped with a common vertical product discharge. The speed, and thus the desired end fineness, can be adjusted by means of a frequency converter. (not included) Rinsing air prevents unclassified product from migrating into the end product thru the gap between the classifying wheel and the labyrinth seal. Rinsing air also protects the classifying wheel bearing. The classifier is operated as a called a air flow classifier. This means that the feed material is charged to the machine together with a portion (usually 50%) of the classifying air. Units are also very heavy, approx. 2200 kg each In closing, these unit are being offered at a small fraction of there original cost, (6 fiquires), and could be an economical way to improve your manufacturing process. Along with the units, there are also 4 each spare wheels included, one steel, one ceramic and two in disrepair. |
