Hardinge Universal Plain Dividing Head: 5 Inch 4 Jawed Chuck with Chuck Key Replacement cost in excess of $7000. The study, compact Hardinge dividing head is designed for extreme accuracy and maximum convenience in operation. The dividing head swing is 7" in diameter. The head is graduated in degrees and the spindle can be swung from 10 degrees below horizontal to 20 degrees beyond vertical. The preloaded ball bearing spindle is ground for direct application of standard 1-1/16" capacity round 5C collets which are also used in the main cutter spindle.
