Hardinge Radius Turning Attachment: The radius turning attachment is used for producing precision concave and convex radii up to 1-1/2 inches. It mounts directly to a dovetail bed pland and usually uses 5/16 inch square shank tool bits. Maximum swing over base is 3 inches diameter. The swivel slid moves through 360 degrees and is mounted on precision pre loded ball bearings for accuracy and rigidity. Slide and tool movement are controlled by large, easily-read, black and white feed screw dieals graduated in .001 increments. The dials are adjustable for a zero setting with a positive lock.
