This is a precision gear hobbing machine. Built in 1966 it was intended for the manufacture of watches, cameras, shutters, music boxes, or any instrument or mechanism requiring small precision spur gears. What makes this a rare find is that it includes its original accessory box full of change gears, collets and centers, as well as an array of hobs that would enable the user to cut a wide variety of spur gears.
