Dumore Series 28 Automatic Drill Unit The Series 28 Unit is capable of drilling in 3/8" mild steel and tapping in 1/2" mild steel. It has a 3/4 HP, 460 volt 3 phase reversing motor and use pneumatic power for forward and return feed. Most electrical and pneumatic controls are built into the unit at the factory so it is ready for quick installation and operation. These come with both a #2 Jacobs Spindle and also a 5/8-24 threaded straight shank. All the pulleys are also included for changing spindle speeds. I personally used these two units in a small aluminum manufacting operation for both machining and threading operations. They are excellent machines and still have lots of life left in them. They are still manufactured by Dumore Corporation and repair parts are available. |
