The idea came from the frustration of not having sufficient room to lay drawings in shop areas. Table and bench spaces were at a premium and needed for tools work pieces. Drawings placed on benches inevitably were defaced and/or destroyed, which lead to lost time and mistakes. The idea was to develop an item that would hang the drawing vertically for easy viewing, free up bench space, and eliminate mistakes & lost time. After experimenting with several designs, this portable, adjustable, and collapsible unit was born. When all his co-workers wanted one, he knew he was on to something! The design allows attachment to any vertical magnetic surface, adjustment to any size drawing, & can be collapsed & stored when not in use. The powerful magnets are removable to allow permanent or non-ferrous mounting. There are many potential markets for this product. Anywhere people work with drawings, instruction, patterns, or schematics.
