Hahn & Kolb Tool and Cutter Grinder, Like Monoset Hahn & Kolb Tool and Cutter Grinding Machine WS 54. Like a Cincinatti Monoset only better. Radius cutter delux. and much more. All parts, accessories, and manuals are available from info@sebit.de or their web site www.sebit.de . I am sure they can answer any questions you might have about this fantastic machine tool grinder. We have never run this machine but it seems to have very few hours on it and is in great shape. Sold new for over 40 thousand. Productivity realized at tool cutting edge Tool cutting speeds and feeds and their tool life are important specification factors of productivity in manufacture. Every material and every machining task requires the correct tool with suitable tool geometry. Tool cutting edges are defined by spatial reference surfaces and form of grinding wheel: they are generated by the kinematics of the tool and cutter grinder. The outstanding characteristic of the WS 54 is the universal workhead. It replaces the otherwise necessary clamping table. It is therefore possible to grind, relieve grind and index -cylindrical and tapered comoponents -straight and spiral fluted without any additional equipment. A positioning movement, independent of a pre-set helix angle, is possible by tangential relationof the work spindle. The sine bar generates the helical rotating movement by connecting longitudinal and rotary movements. The functions which are intergrated in the workhead reduce the setting up time considerably. The WS 54 is ideally suited for economical re-grinding and production of step-milling and chamfering tools as well as turning and special tools. Workhead with tool and adapter The workhead has the following positioning options and working strokes: -In the horizontal plane: positioning and working movement (longitudinal and cross slide) -rotary movement in the spindle axis with helix setting -swivelling of spindle carrier for tapered work pieces. Grinding wheel spindle head with quick change flange The folliwing positioning and working movements are intergrated into the grinding wheel spindle head: -rotary movements around the swivel plate axis -adjustment facilities of wheel head column in the horizontal plane in 2 directions -swivel movment of the wheel head around the vertical axis of the column -height adjustment of the wheel head along the vertical axis of the column -swivel movement of the wheel head around the horizontal mounting axis on column Advantages for work-shop operation -better true running accuracy, as main grinding operations are carried out in one clamping, e.g *cylindrical-,helix-and relief grinding -stepless tangential adjustment, independant of helix angle -fast change over from cicumference grinding to face grinding Copyright 2003 - 2006, Unauthorized Duplication Prohibited |
