Aluminum Vacuum Chamber with Load-Lock & Rotary Platform. This Aluminum Vacuum Chamber has about 10 ports, including 3 circular ports about 17" in diameter. The rotary platform can be seen inside the lower left circular port. (Normal orientation would be 90 degrees from the way it is shown-we just don't know which direction. The overall dimensions of the main chamber are about 48" across the bottom, 36" tall and 20" front to back as shown above. Raw weight is something over 400 pounds. The air cylinders that operate the load-locks can be seen to the lover left of the image below. There is about a 17 slot port to the lower right. The ring mechanism rotates. The image below is what we believe is the drive motor/gear assembly that rotates it. The components inside it also move driven by Pittman gear motors. The two Pittman gear motors that drive the 2 small semicircular units can be seen in these images. The motors are GM9413-4 12/24 volts DC 218.4 to 1 ratio. The 18 inch slotted port more or less lines up with the rotating platform inside and has an 0-ringed matching plate as shown above. The air cylinders shown above operate the load-lock chambers shown below. Addtional external mechanism associated with the load-locks is on the underside as shown below. We assume normal orientation is rotated 90 degrees form the way the unit is currently positioned. Again, the 3 circular ports are about 17" diameter. The image above shows a small VCO venting or purging port and the image below shows a couple more. Overall width in the direction of the depth of the chamber is about 36 inches if you include the air cylinders. Additional similar items maybe listed separately or available on request. Might be just what you need for your moderately large aluminum vacuum chamber application. Condition looks like this was a prototype chamber that never really got used but did get modified some from its original implementation. Sold strictly as-is parts assembly.
