The only testing I did is by turning on and feeling the heat from the heater. The heater can be controlled, by the sensor attached to the patient, or manually. I was also able to see the lights activate when I switched from man or skin. Also when sliding the heater switch I could see it add more bars to the bar scale.
*** The temp readings were off, since I didnt have the probe on my skin, it also set the alarm off because of this ..
This unit has a battery backup system, that appears to work (sounds alarms), some flashing buttons.
The temperature is displayed on a red digital display, and the temperature can be set manually.
* I have two of these, the second unit does not have the gauge set. If interested I can send you a link for the photos of the second unit.
Below is the factory specs, the units may or may not have everything stated below, please review the photos for details or email me for further info.
Air-Shields IICS-90 (Infant Intensive Care System)
The warming module head can be moved 65˚ in either direction to facilitate other procedures such as x-ray, without interrupting thermal operation.
All bassinets include a smooth operating mattress tilt.
An organizer panel at the rear of the bassinet supports efficient cable management. Each panel can be opened or removed for cleaning. Each panel is marked to optimize positioning of x-ray cassette.
Takes the audible alarm tone away from the infant area and also displays alarm violations in a remote location promoting a low-noise, stress free environment. The remote alarm will initiate alarm violations at a lower intensity, and will only increase if unattended.
A conveniently located x-ray cassette tray enables x-rays to be taken with minimal disturbance to the patient.
