Serial # of the grain head is: 185966030 Made in Canada Think it is a 1974, altho a Massey tec has emailed us stating that , "the combine is a 1979 or 1980 as those are the only two years that a gray cab 750 were made." Perkins 354 engine. 6 cylinder. Gas engine. The header's condition leads us to believe that it is not the original header, because the hour meter says 3867 and the header seems to be in better shape than the hours would suggest.(?) Rented out my land -no longer need it. Grain head (Meire) is for beans or oats. (We do NOT have a corn head for this machine.) Problem with the electrical clutch on the grain head- wires are frayed. (More correctly called - problem with the electric header height control. Electric reel speed SEEMS to be fine. Have manual-price for manual is $69.00 (as that is what we paid for it.) Will consider reasonable offers. |
