"By George" 42 inch circle and ring shear, built by the Reliance Tool Company in Cerritos, California, on February 11, 1981. This is a rotary blade machine, 3/4 horsepower variable speed motor, runs on 120V AC, draws about 7.5 amps. Head throat depth is just over 22", and the tail throat depth is 30". It will cut from 3 1/8" to almost 48" circles because of the extended throat depth. Flanging is maximum 1/4".Capacities are 14ga in mild steel to 16ga annealed strainless steel. The machine closed up length is 78" wide, 30" high, and 24" deep at the back of the mlotor. The approximate weight is 450+ lbs. Machine includes two used sets and one new set of blades.
