HUGE Beverly Pacific Chemical Exhaust Fume Scrubber 100/60 HorsePower 40,000 CFM. We currently estimate the new replacement cost to be over $150,000. (This listing has about 50 images so please be patient-maybe take a short break-while they load if this item is of interest to you.) This listing is for just ONE of 3 units discussed. The unit shown above uses a 60 horsepower non-metallic fan to draw chemical fume laden air through a chamber of media sprayed with water. The water washes or "scrubs" the fumes out of the air. We have 3 almost matching units-2 are 60 hp and 1 is 100 hp. In the image above, the suction fan is on the left and the scrubber chamber is to the right. The 3 pumps provide the water spray over the media in the chamber (the media has been removed and disposed of-the chamber has been professionally "decontaminated"). In the image below (100 hp version) the suction fan blower is on the right with the circular exhaust at the top (stack pipe to outside was removed earlier). The media chamber is center and left. The intake is further to the left (see the second image below). The image above shows the intake end of the 100 hp unit with the "motorized" louvers in the open position. (The chain hoist is not included.) The image above shows intake straight-on. The image below is a closer view of the three 5 hp pumps that spray water on the media. See the link below for the factory website: Beverly Pacific - FRP Scrubbers, Ductwork, and Air Filtration Systems The inlet on the 100hp unit is about 5' square. The Hartzell fan housing is about 80 inch diameter and 3 feet thick. The fan assembly footprint is about 7 feet by 10 feet. The media chamber is about 9 feet long. The distance from the intake to the media chamber is about 7 feet. Overall height is a bit over 11 feet. The distance from the top to the top-section seam is about 67 inches. The fan assembly footprint on the smaller units is about 7 feet by 6 feet. The chamber on the smaller units is also about 9 feet long. The distance from the chamber to the intake on them is about 5 feet. The overall width of the smaller units, including the sump is about 10 feet. The overall height of the smaller units is about 11 feet. The distance from the top to the seam is about 62.5 inches. The diameter of the smaller unit inlets is about 54" The image above shows the motors that came off this set of scrubbers. VFDs (variable frequency drives) may be available separately for these units. One motor is 100 horsepower and the others are 60. This listing is for just ONE of 3 units discussed. Other similar items may be available listed separately or on request. Might be just what you need for your really serious chemical fume exhaust scrubber application. Condition looks very good functional used. The images above were taken during removal from the factory where it was used. It was removed because the factory closed (not because there was a problem with the unit). The media has been removed and disposed of and the unit has had a professional decontamination done to remove any active chemical residue that might have been left. The system will have been taken into parts so we can get it out of the building. Click cavlon99 all to see items from the past 30 days-might be something you need that did not sell.
