Plumat Pluemat Bench mounted, Semi automatic, Single head, Pneumatic IV Bag Stopper Insertion Machine Offered for purchase is a NEW Pluemat (Plumat), Model 1832, bench mounted, semi manual stopper insertion machine. The VS 104 is a stand alone device to close filled iv bags by inserting stoppers pneumatically. The operation is pretty straightforward, a stopper is first manually pressed into the tube, and the operator then feeds the filled IV bag’s fill tube into the machine’s gripper assembly. The gripper closes tightly around the tube. The operator then it activates the lever pneumatically pressing the stopper tightly into the tube. The gripper then releases the tube and the bag can be removed. Please review photos below for details. The stopper insertion machine was manufactured by Pluemat (or Plumat) of Germany, producers of piston and turbine filling and sealing machines and support equipment for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and nutritional industries since 1975. Bought in 2005 to package an intravenous product in development, the equipment was set up, tested and demonstrated with distilled water only. The product did not pan out and entire project was tabled.
