PHARMACIA PHASTSYSTEM SEPARATION CONTROL UNIT WITH DEVELOPMENT UNIT The Pharmacia PhastSystem consists of a Separation-Control unit for system control and electrophoresis, and a Development Unit for gel staining. Electrophoresis is performed on a thermostatic plate capable of maintaining temperatures accurately from 0 to +70 °C. Multi-step programming capability allows gels to be pre run, loaded and run automatically. Controlled parameters include temperature, voltage, current, power, and volt-hours. The whole idea behind the Phast System is extreme ease of use and speedy runs.
