The new Frymaster FPH14-7 Full Vat/Half Vat electric fryer is specially designed for non-traditional restaurant operations, to be used under a ventless hood. It features the FootPrint® filtration System, which fits neatly underneath the fryer, requiring no additional floor space. This hands-off filtering system sets new standards for cost savings, safety, ease of operation and reliability. The entire filtering operation is automatic and takes about 3 minutes to complete. The FPH14-7 Full/Half Vat fryer has a minimum 40-lb. (22 liters), maximum 50-lb. (28 liters) shortening capacity, full vat and maximum 25-lb. (14 liters) shortening capacity, half vat. The full vat frying area is 13-13/16in x 15-1/2in (351 x 394 mm);half vat, 6-1/2in x 15-1/2in (165 x 394 mm). The open-pot design can be thoroughly cleaned by hand. The large cold zone traps crumbs and sediment, preventing them from entering the frying area. Counter-balanced, swing-up, ribbon-type electric elements are self cleaning and long lasting. If desired, only the one-half size frypot can be used during off-hour frying when traffic is light; thus saving energy and prolonging shortening life. This model is available with stainless pot and door, with enamel cabinet or with stainless pot, door and cabinet.

* STANDARD REAR FLUSH, allowing the operator to select oil return either through the power shower, or from the bottom of the frypot.
* COMPUTER MAGIC - for product consistency every time, regardless of load size. Centerline temperature sensor mounting permits quick response to temperature drop caused by cold food placed in the cooking area. Computer Magic automatically adjusts cooking time, and signals when each load is done. LED readouts display cooking time count down, and provide precise frypot temperature on command. It is simple to program and reprogram changes right on the grease-proof control panel.

Frymaster's electric deep-fat fryers afford a major breakthrough in fryer design: solid- state electronics. Solid-state design means fewer moving parts; and that spells RELIABILITY. Extensive laboratory test show the solid state fryer is at least fifteen times more reliable than previous electric models.
In this design, contactors have been replaced by solid-state switching devices. These solid-state devices are controlled by a programmable microchip. There are no moving parts to wear out. These devises are smaller, quieter, and, most importantly, they have proven in actual field tests conducted by Penn State University to be extremely reliable.
