ICE CREAM TRUCK GOOD HUMOR ALUMINUM This is a 1974 Ford Ice Cream Truck by International Mobiles. It has a Ford 300 6 cylinder engine, heavy duty suspension with I beam and king pins in front, 4 way drum brakes, Classy wheels etc. The odometer reads 24,000 something but I would guess that it is at least 224,000. It runs nicely but will likely need a tune up & some maintenance to be at it's prime again. It does have a new fuel pump, and it is electronic ignition.It also has a new Battery. The paint is in good condition with the expected scuffs and scratches associated with street vending. It sports a Nichols Digital 2 music box, a new 100 watt music horn, a safety swing arm, outside patriotic canopies, with lights and has LED lighting for the stop, tail, turn lights. It has a Large 3 bay + soda box cold plate freezer that has been well taken care of. This is a former Good Humor - Dickie Dee Truck that was bought from & or originated in Boston, MA. The truck is located near Vancouver, BC Canada. 2 hours north of Seattle and is available for viewing by appointment. |
