The GL12 is a manual 12-inch slicer with a high production 1/2 horsepower knife motor, and a seamless one-piece base constructed from heavy gauge anodized aluminum. The high performance motor keeps productivity high and assures optimum performance, even when slicing the toughest products such as soft cheeses. The slicer’s precise thickness adjustment is easy to control creating slice thicknesses from paper thin to 15/16”. An all aluminum gravity feed mechanism (38°) angle requires less pressure from the operator, thus making tough slicing jobs easy. Knife is belt driven. Knife cover interlock improves operator safety during cleaning by insuring that the slicer will not operate when the knife cover is removed. Heavy gauge anodized aluminum construction. Full gravity feed food chute. It has the knife ring guard permanently attached to protect cutting edges of the knife. Fan cooled, permanently lubricated ball bearing motor and removable metal knife sharpener. It is 115 volt, 60Hz, 2.9 amp and 1 phase. Motor is 1/2 HP.
