A majority of forming and punching jobs being performed on press brakes in sheet meterials can de done faster and safer by using a brake with an adjustable stroke(opening). The hydraulically operated di-acro press brakes with stroke adjusment offer you that kind of performance. Adjusting stroke to narrowest opening means less accident hazard for operators. Shortest possible stroke on each job means maxium effciency. Speeds varies from 32 to 80 strokes per minute, depending on opening postion. Reduces whipping with resultant kinking of material. No brake bands or clutch discs to wear. Can be backed off at any point in the stroke. No special operator skill required. Nice hydra mechanical press brake with autobend 5 back gage. (number display burned out. I have a qoute to repair for $500 ) Comes with the operation parts manual. Model 1448 you can bend 14ga entire length or thicker material not the full length. Comes with adjustable fingers , plain stops , shop made stops, set bars to recalibrate backgage Machine had the Cylinders and ram where rebuilt in 2003. You can do a dealer/internet search and you will find that thess brakes are generaly priced at $7,000-$9,000 with no nc backgage. The backgage system generaly sells for $3500 plus used.
