The D100P runs on compressed air, so electricity is not required. Dies are sold separately. D100 Series Dies (most sizes, $150.00 each) are available to crimp one-wire and two-wire hoses up to 1ΒΌ" ID and four-wire hose up to 1" ID. Custom dies are also available. The fully adjustable design of this crimper allows you to crimp virtually any manufacturer's fittings. The direct-reading metric micrometer allows precise setting of crimp diameters (+/- .1 mm). No shims or spacers needed. This allows the D100P to accomodate a wide range of hose and fitting types, including Weatherhead, Parker, Gates, and more. Removable pusher and spring-loaded die sets allow easy loading, even with bent tube and special fittings. The open design provides excellent operator visibility.
